W2 Horses is proud to offer Lone Creek Blu Storm! A registered nine-year-old AQHA gelding affectionately known as Indigo. Standing at 15.3 hands tall, Indigo is a true standout with both his stunning looks and impressive build. His striking blue roan color, combined with his dreamy eyes and long forelock, only add to his majestic appearance. He is a true showstopper! But it's not just his striking appearance that makes him special—Indigo is the total package! He is an extraordinary horse with a big heart and a charming, outgoing personality. His impressive training and diverse experience make him exceptional in every way. From day one, Indigo has exhibited a gentle, easygoing, and willing nature. His eagerness to learn, paired with his amazing attitude, makes him an absolute pleasure to be around. Indigo's training has been done thoughtfully and patiently, from the basics to advanced skills. He knows how to lunge on a line, change directions, and respond to your body language. His soft and respectful demeanor extends from the ground to the saddle. He has a fancy way of going with a nice trot, an effortless lope, and easy transitions on both leads. He has a good handle, neck reins, and side passes, responds to leg cues, has a good stop, and can ridden bridleless! Indigo not only shines in the arena; he's a reliable partner on the trail and is an experienced ranch horse! On the trails, he's steady, honest, and sure-footed. No matter the terrain, he'll confidently venture anywhere you ask. Whether riding alone, leading a group, or quietly following, he remains calm and composed. We've spent plenty of time desensitizing him to a variety of challenges—nothing phases him. He's excellent with traffic, machinery, bullwhips, wildlife, bicycles, and crossing water. Whether carrying the flag or riding bareback, Indigo handles it all like a champ. He's even great with dogs, allowing them to ride along and jump around him without a care in the world. His easygoing nature ensures he remains steady through loud noises and unexpected situations. In addition to his trail and arena skills, Indigo is an invaluable ranch partner. He has years of experience gathering, sorting, and working cattle. He's been used extensively to pasture rope and doctoring yearlings and has started working the roping dummy, though he's not yet roped out of the box. He is VERY COWY and loves a job! He seamlessly side passes to open and close gates and will drag anything you dally to the saddle horn without hesitation. He has traveled all over from Florida to Oklahoma performing various ranch work duties and is as experienced as they come. Indigo’s playful spirit and eagerness to please make him an absolute joy to work with. Despite his advanced training, he remains easy to ride and simple to enjoy, suitable for riders of all levels, including kids. He can carry riders of any size thanks to his robust build and strong bones. He's always ready to put in the hard work when needed, yet he's just as content to enjoy a leisurely ride. With a patient and willing nature, he truly has no mean bone in his body. Whether you seek a fun outing or a challenging day on the ranch, Indigo is guaranteed to give his best. Indigo is a remarkable horse that has been enjoyed by riders of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned cowboys. We've used him for riding lessons, and he adapts seamlessly to each rider, regardless of their skill. Though he has plenty of buttons, he is incredibly forgiving, and they aren't necessary for a relaxed, enjoyable ride. He absolutely loves children and the attention they give him. He's patient as they learn, quietly following their guidance wherever they ask him to go. As you prepare to mount, Indigo stands perfectly still and waits for your cue to walk off. He stands calmly for saddling without needing to be tied and happily accepts the bridle. He enjoys grooming, baths, and treats and is always eager for neck scratches. He's a breeze to catch, picks up all four feet without hesitation, and stands patiently for the farrier. Loading and unloading from the trailer is effortless for him, and he's content to stand quietly all day. He travels well and hauls quietly. Even after taking months off from riding, Indigo consistently performs just as wonderfully every time you hop on. He's the ideal family horse, perfect for both experienced riders and complete beginners. Indigo is an absolute dream to ride, and his sweet, gentle personality reflects his big heart. He is a true dream horse; he gives his all in everything he does every single day. Indigo is one-of-a-kind and is ready to bring joy and happiness into your life. His fun-loving spirit, combined with his gentle nature and willingness to please, will always make you smile. It won't take long for you to fall in love with him! We would love for you to meet Indigo in person and take him for a ride to experience just how special he is! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to give us a call.
