W2 Horses is proud to offer McCurdy’s Monkey! Monkey is an exceptional, drop-dead gorgeous McCurdy Plantation Horse. He is a beautiful bay roan and stands a perfect 15 hands. Monkey was started with an excellent foundation and has since excelled in all aspects of his training. Monkey has extensive experience trail riding and bird hunting. He is very soft and supple. He neck reins, side passes, responds to leg pressure, and lopes both leads. He has a beautiful way of going with a very smooth gait. He is sure-footed and will willingly go anywhere you ask. We have ridden Monkey many miles out alone as well as with large groups of 100+ horses and ATVs. Monkey is great with gunfire, traffic, flags, dogs, mules, wagons, water, dragging, bullwhips, and ponying other horses. He is even good with you shooting off fireworks from his back. Monkey is a pleasure to be around and easy to ride. Monkey doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He has a soft, kind eye and a willingness to please his rider. He takes to all new things easily and quickly. He loves attention and has the sweetest personality. Monkey is safe and suitable for any level rider! He is a finished trail horse that is ready to take you up the mountain or down the beach!
